Who writes this Windsor guide

This is an independent guide to Caesars Windsor, the casino resort on the Detroit River waterfront in Windsor, Ontario. It takes no bets and is signed by its editorial desk, the Riverside Desk.

By the Riverside DeskChecked October 2026

Who is behind it

The guide is independent. It is not Caesars Windsor, not Caesars Entertainment and not OLG, and it speaks for none of them. It takes no bets, holds no accounts and runs no cashier, so nothing can be deposited, wagered or withdrawn here.

Every page is signed by the Riverside Desk, the guide's editorial desk. No named author sits behind the byline. The desk describes the venue from the outside, the way a city paper would.

Where the facts come from

Facts come from the casino's own pages at caesars.com, the Caesars fact sheet and the regional tourism board. OLG, the AGCO, iGaming Ontario, the province of Ontario and local news fill in the rest. The desk checked them in October 2026.

Counts from the Caesars fact sheet keep the word "over", as the sheet gives them. That is why the floor appears here with over 2,000 slot machines and over 80 table games.

Some things are not published. Restaurant hours, apart from the Tim Hortons that runs 24 hours, are on the casino's own restaurant page at caesars.com. Questions about check-in and check-out times go to the hotel at 1-800-991-7777. Table minimums are not listed either, and the guide says so rather than guessing.

How the paid links work

Only the home page carries paid links, and each one is marked Ad. They lead to a private online casino partner. The partner is not named here and can change, and the guide does not vouch for it. Any online casino should be checked against the iGaming Ontario directory at igamingontario.ca. Online play is 19+ and only while physically in Ontario.

No link to the casino, OLG, the province or help services is paid.

The woman in the photographs

The young woman in this guide's photographs is a character created for the site with an image generator. She is not a real person, not casino staff and not the author. In none of the pictures is she playing. The desk gives her no lines and no story.

Privacy

The guide has no accounts, no forms and no ad trackers, so reading it asks nothing of the reader. The light or dark display choice stays in the browser tab and goes nowhere else.
