My PlayBreak for Ontario casinos
My PlayBreak is OLG's self-exclusion program for Ontario casinos, Charitable Gaming Centres and OLG.ca. For casinos, the terms are 3 or 6 months, or 1 to 5 years. A casino break bars entry to any Ontario casino, Caesars Windsor included. It cannot be cancelled early. People who are self-excluded cannot attend Caesars Windsor or its outlets.
Enrolment has three routes. One is a call to the OLG Support Centre at 1-800-387-0098. The others are asking staff on site or seeing a PlaySmart Centre coordinator. A request made at Caesars Windsor still covers every other Ontario casino.
BetGuard for online play
BetGuard, at betguard.ca, is run by iGaming Ontario. A person aged 19 or older can use it to opt out of every regulated Ontario online gambling site at once. It stops at the screen, though. BetGuard does not cover land-based casinos, so Caesars Windsor sits outside it. For the casino floor, My PlayBreak is the program.
Before the first bet
The casino floor at Caesars Windsor is open 24/7, with slots and tables running non-stop. No closing time arrives to end the night, so the clock is the visitor's to set.
